Asking people what their purpose is in life, many will provide a generic answer or shrug. Ask them what their passion is, and most likely – if they know it – they will overflow on the subject; and if they haven’t found it or haven’t acknowledged it yet – they may just shrug again.
Why is it important? While we have free will, it is not always happiness that we choose. Not necessarily because we seek to be unhappy, but because the route to it is not obvious.
