Do you think it is true,
That people are inherently good?
Or are they really neutral, waiting to be influenced in one way or another?
If you are a hero to someone, you are the villain to someone else.
Are you good, or not?
Whose perspective will you believe when both sides of the coin speak in the same metal?
And if doing no harm is the answer, then how can one even take a breath without harming something – however small?
All good questions. The questions of a philosopher, or a whole slew of philosophers! My own opinion is that we, each of us, is product of a combination of biological, psychological, and social environments. These things predispose us to lean this way or that. The secret ingredient is love. Its presence or absence in our worlds have a great influence. Do your best. It’s credo of someone, somewhere, “First, do no harm.” What are your thoughts on your questions?
Love! Yes! Thank you.
